The Venue

Palazzo Corigliano

Piazza San Domenico Maggiore

Naples

Palazzo Corigliano, commissioned in the early 16th century by Giovanni di Sangro and Andreina Dentice, is a Renaissance residence located in Naples’ historic centre. Designed by the Florentine architect Giovanni Donadio, known as il Mormando, it combined classical inspiration with innovative architectural features. Extensively renovated in the 18th century by Duke Agostino Saluzzo, it was enriched with grand halls, gilded stuccoes, and the celebrated Cabinet decorated with mirrors and mythological scenes. Since 1977, the building has been owned by the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, which restored it for academic use; today it serves as a distinguished venue for conferences and cultural events.
